Allseating announced the expansion of finishes for its Tuck Collection, the family of award-winning seating that is highly customizable, functional, and comfortable for any education, healthcare, or corporate environment.

Designed by Todd Yetman for Allseating, the Tuck family of seating is lightweight, versatile and portable, with sturdy frames that can withstand high-density use. The five new colors: Citrus, Indigo, Pottery, Pine and Birch, join the previous six existing color options — Onyx, Smoke, Haze, Cotton, Currant, and Midnight. Each new hue was inspired by customer requests and the latest color trends on the market.

Citrus: Requested by designers, a ‘truer’ yellow was the inspiration behind Allseating’s Citrus. Vibrant and optimistic, Citrus reflects a positive outlook towards design in 2021. Allseating’s Citrus salutes Pantone’s Spring 2021 New York color palette as well as London’s Autumn/Winter 2021/2022 palette by offering an energetic and uplifting tone for the Tuck series.

Indigo: Indigo, the perfect complement to Midnight, represents a brighter, traditional blue which is inspired by Pantone’s 2020 Color of the year — Classic Blue. Blue is a long-established color that exudes confidence and stability. Blues can also have cool and calming effects on the spaces they decorate.

Pottery: Pottery fills the need for a warm grey tone. This neutral is the ultimate cross between grey and beige. It is a flexible hue that can complement all colors, while also having the beauty and verve to stand firmly on its own.

Pine: Symbolizing a reconnection with nature, greens are typically synonymous with healing, restfulness, and harmony. Allseating’s Pine is tweaked slightly to complement both the current Allseating palette as well as color trends.

Birch: Birch is a light grey that is balanced with a silver-white tone. Birch, also available on Allseating’s task seating, will add consistency to design when paired together. To complement the already existing palette, Birch was chosen to be both inviting and neutral and will serve well in toned-down spaces where a brighter white would be too harsh.

The Tuck Collection, winner of both a GOOD DESIGN Award and a Best of NeoCon Award, will gain more versatility with the addition of these five new colors. The new colors are also available as a painted frame to match the polypropylene back and will be offered with the Astute and Exchange collections later in 2021.
